John LaRose has been at OCC 19 years (both men's and women's tennis teams). John is a retired teacher from Onondaga Central High School (34 years). Coached high school tennis for 20 years with 10 league championships. Former District 13 Director for the United States Tennis Association. Former tennis instructor for the Town of Onondaga. Returning to Syracuse to teach and coach tennis he is presently a USPTA teaching pro. Graduate of OCC and SUNY College of Technology majoring in Electrical engineering. Presently a tennis pro coaching at OCC formerly at Pinegrove Tennis Club in Camillus, and presently assistant pro at Eastside Racquet Club in Manlius.
