    Biography:

    Wainwright holds a Ph.D. (ABD) from the University of Maryland in communication arts and sciences. He also earned a master of arts in communication from Penn State University and a bachelor of arts in communication, English and educational studies from Ripon College.

    Prior to coming to Onondaga, Wainwright taught at Cornell University and George Washington University. He has served as a communication analyst for the AFL-CIO Solidarity Center and as a communication consultant for several local political candidates. He is a member of the National Communication Association.
