Biography:

Dr. Wright is a licensed clinical social worker and a credentialed alcoholism and substance abuse counselor. She holds a Ph.D. from the Maxwell School of Citizenship, Interdisciplinary Social Science Program at Syracuse University. She obtained a master of social work from Syracuse University and a bachelor of science in human services from Empire State College. Dr. Wright has published numerous works including a chapter titled, “Substance Abuse in African American Communities” which was included in the book edited by Onondaga Professor Dr. Theresa Mohammed, “Essays In Response to Bill Cosby’s Comments About African American Failure.”
