Nationalization Ceremony Held at Onondaga

As part of International Education Week festivities at Onondaga, 50 people from 32 countries were sworn-in as American citizens in November. Acting New York State Supreme Court Judge Michael Hanuszczak presided over the ceremony. Onondaga President Dr. Casey Crabill delivered welcoming remarks and Associate Professor of Music David Rudari sang the National Anthem. Onondaga alumna Sheralyn Wellman, ’13, sang God Bless America.

The naturalization ceremony was presented in conjunction with the U.S. Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Americanization League of Syracuse and Onondaga County.
