Onondaga Named Military Friendly School for 3rd Consecutive Year

Onondaga maintains a full-time Office of Veterans’ Affairs. The staff offers informal supportive assistance and information to any interested students. As a direct link between the student-veterans and the VA regional office, the office handles applications for VA benefits and payment inquiries. Onondaga’s Office of Veterans’ Affairs serves nearly 300 student-veterans and their dependents each year.
Onondaga’s Program Coordinator is Keith Stevenson. He is a Syracuse native who served in the U.S. Coast Guard. After being discharged he attended Onondaga on the GI Bill and worked as a Veterans Administration work-study student in the Office of Veterans Affairs.
