Biography

Dr. Cross has taught at Onondaga and also maintained a private practice of individual and family therapy for more than 30 years. He is a New York state licensed marriage and family therapist, a member of the American Psychological Association and he obtained his Ph.D. from Syracuse University. A West Point graduate and Vietnam combat veteran, Dr. Cross is a founding member of Veterans for Peace Syracuse Chapter and cofounder of West Point Grads Against The War (westpointgradsagainstthewar.org.) He is an officer at the Zen Center of Syracuse where he has taught conscious stress reduction for more than 10 years. He is a recipient of the Peacekeeper Award from Peace Action of CNY and a past recipient of the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.
