The Basketball Tournament is returning to Onondaga Community College! Games will be played on campus July 31, August 1, and August 2. Boeheim's Army, a team consisting primarily of former Syracuse University players, will once again call SRC Arena their home.
"We are honored to welcome back Boeheim's Army and the TBT Tournament to our campus this summer. Syracuse is an amazing basketball city and the SRC Arena is a premier facility for intercollegiate and scholastic athletic competitions, graduation ceremonies, trade shows, and countless community-focused events. Hotly contested basketball inside our air conditioned aren is a summertime dream for basketball fans," said OCC President DR. Casey Crabill.
"We're excited for the TBT to come back to Cuse," said Boeheim's Army team leader Eric Devendorf. "We always love playing in front of the home fans, love being able to bring that excitement to the city in the summer!" The support the fans give is unmatched! Looking forward to getting after it with my brothers again in front of our orange family."
TBT is a 64-team, $2-million dollar winner-take-all basketball tournament. OCC's SRC Arena is one of eight regional sites. The winner of each regional will advance to Championship Week at the University of Dayton Arena August 6-11. Tickets for the games played at SRC Arena can be purchased at www.thetournament.com.
