Onondaga Community College President Dr. Casey Crabill, Interim Provost and Senior Vice President Anastasia L. Urtz, J.D., Keuka College President Amy Storey, and Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Bradley Fuster, D.M.A. today signed a Dual Admission and General Transfer Agreement which creates a new pathway for students pursuing a bachelor's degree in Social Work. Students accepted into the dual admission program who earn an associate degree from OCC in Human Services will be able to pursue a bachelor's degree in Social Work from Keuka College on the OCC campus, online, or on the Keuka College campus. The new program is also expected to be part of OCC's Weekend College this August pending approval by SUNY and the New York State Education Department.

"This new partnership creates an invaluable opportunity for our students to take their education to the next level while remaining on the OCC campus. We're equally excited to add this to the list of Weekend College degree programs we will be offering students who have busy lives to work around. We're grateful to President Storey and Vice President for Academic Affairs Fuster for seeing the tremendous potential in our students and providing them this new pathway to a bachelor's degree," said OCC President Dr. Casey Crabill.

"Today's agreement combines the strength of Keuka College's Social Work program and Onondaga Community College's Human Services program to create exciting new educational opportunities," said Keuka College President Amy Storey. "Overall employment of social workers is projected to grow 11 percent from 2018 to 2028, much faster than the average for all occupations. This partnership will provide both institutions the ability to not only offer a bachelor's degree in a growing area, but better serve students through the region."
