There's a new place for students to receive assistance on campus. The Student Support Services office is now open on the first floor of Coulter Hall in office C110.

Services provided there include tutoring, academic coaching, student success workshops, internship opportunities, transfer assistance, financial aid assistance, personal counseling, and referrals for personal needs.

To qualify for assistance at the Student Support Services office students must meet one of three criteria: first-generation college student, come from a low income home, or be a student with a disability.

Students can apply for assistance by filling out this application form. Students are also encouraged to drop in to the office or email at ssstrio@sunyocc.edu. The office is staffed by Megan Barnes, Ph.D. who is the Director, and Student Support Services Coach Randy Wright.

The Student Support Services office is funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education as part of the Federal TRIO Programs.
