I. Policy Statement
Persons 60 years of age or over are permitted to register for audit of Onondaga Community College courses without tuition, examination, grading or credit on a space available basis, according to the Academic Rules, as determined by the President, provided that such audit attendance does not deny course attendance by an individual who is otherwise qualified.
II. Reason for Policy
This policy is intended to enable the College to further advance its educational mission by making its educational resources available to senior citizens in the community at no additional cost.

OCC faculty and staff should be familiar with this policy.

V. Procedures
Each semester, the Registration and Records Office shall determine those courses for which senior citizen audit registration may potentially be available as described in Section I above.
