Laptops

OCC has limited number loaner laptops available to students that need a computer to complete their coursework. These laptops are intended for use by students that do not have access to a computer off campus.

Windows Laptops

These are traditional laptops running Windows 10. They are available for students that need more specialized software and processing power, such as those majoring in Computer Science, Broadcast Media Communications or Architecture. Windows laptops may be checked out at the first floor circulation desk in the Library.  All Windows laptops will be loaned for the current term and due back at the end of exams. 

Other Equipment

WiFi Hotspots

A limited number of hotspots are available for students in need. Contact your academic school to see if you are eligible.  Advisors and School Specialists should email Kelley Nolan ( k.m.nolan3@sunyocc.edu ) and David Durfey ( durfeyd@sunyocc.edu )  to place a request. The request will need to contain the student's name, ID #, and reason they are requesting a hot spot (e.g. no internet access at home). Hotspots will be loaned for the current term and due back at the end of exams. 

Microphones

Microphones are available for in-library 3-hour loan. These are eBerry USB microphones that work in most devices that have a USB port. These may be checked out at the second floor reserve desk in the Library.

Webcams

Webcams are available for in-library 3-hour loan. These are Logitech HD Webcam C310 models that work in most devices that have a USB port. These may be checked out at the second floor reserve desk in the Library.

Calculators

Calculators are available for in-library 3-hour loan (TI-84 Plus CE and TI-Nspire CX II), and for Semester loan (TI-84 Plus, TI-Nspire CX, and TI-30X IIS) (while supplies last). These may be checked out at the Course Reserves Desk on the second floor of the Library.
