Student Outcomes Information
Student retention and completion information shows the trends in how Onondaga Community College students progress towards their educational goals. This information can be especially helpful to prospective students in evaluating their expectations regarding the typical amount of time to completion.
Student Body Diversity Fall 2021
As a part of the recently revised Higher Education Opportunity Act (2008), institutions must now provide information about the student body diversity, including the percentage of enrolled students in the following categories:

Retention Rates
As a part of the recently revised Higher Education Opportunity Act (2008), institutions must make available the retention rate of certificate - or degree-seeking, first-time undergraduate students as reported to IPEDS.
- Fall 2020 First-time, Full-time, degree seeking Students = 1,347
- Retained as of Fall 2021 = 647
- Retention Rate = 48.0%

Completion/Graduation/Transfer-Out Rates
As a part of the recently revised Higher Education Opportunity Act (2008), institutions must now provide their completion and graduation rate information disaggregated by:
- Gender
- Major racial and ethnic subgroup (as defined in IPEDS)
- Recipients of a Federal Pell Grant
- Recipients of a subsidized Stafford Loan who did not receive a Pell Grant
- Students who did not receive either a Pell Grant or a subsidized Stafford Loan
