Becoming a home inspector is a great career choice — be your own boss, set your schedules, and provide a valuable service to home buyers. A home inspection career can be a part- or full-time career and the average New York home inspector typically earns $92,992 annually.

ICA’s New York home inspection training course is fully approved by the New York Department of State (NYDOS). Students can purchase the webinar and field training separately but both must be completed to obtain a New York home inspector license.

Complete 100 hours of New York approved home inspector education. ICA offers this through a live online webinar class.
 

Attend 40 hours of NYDOS approved field training. We offer this training in several locations all throughout the state.
 

Take and pass the NYS written examination, for which our course fully prepares you.
