Obtaining Proof of PTK Membership
6-8 weeks after the induction date, you will receive a packet in the mail from PTK headquarters which includes your membership certificate. You may also receive documentation verifying your PTK membership from the official Phi Theta Kappa International website.
PDF certificates can be requested directly from PTK by logging on to your account at ptk.org (you should use the email submitted on the blue PTK membership application).
How to access the PTK site for the first time for inducted OCC PTK members:
- Go to http://www.ptk.org
- Click the circle with the silhouette of the person in the upper right corner. DO NOT choose join because you are already a member.
- Begin a login with the email you provided on your application.
- Select "forgot password," and request a new one.
- You will get the recovery email at the email you provided on your application.
- Create a password and you will have access to your account.
If you need assistance, there is a phone number and email link at the bottom of the ptk.org page and they should be able to help you. It’s recommended to check all individual contact information on ptk.org to be sure it’s correct.
"Proof of membership” directions:
- If you need membership proof/verification, you can access a PDF copy of your membership certificate by logging in and clicking on your name. Under “Membership and Participation,” then “Membership Details,” you will see a link to “Click Here to Generate Membership Certificate PDF.”
- You can also request a letter of recommendation by logging in and going to Members > Member Tools > Letter of Recommendation, OR you can purchase an official membership certificate at ptk.org/store under Graduation.
