David Bosak
David Bosak is an OCC Men's Soccer player and a youth soccer coach. He's bringing Rush Soccer, the largest youth soccer program in the world, to Central New York.

OCC student and Men's Soccer player David Bosak is becoming one of the big names in the Central New York Youth Soccer community. Bosak is the owner and operator of the CNY Sounders Futbol Club which practices and plays at Ultimate Goal in Marcellus. He recently signed an agreement which will bring Rush Soccer to the region. Rush Soccer is the world's largest soccer academy. "I'm thrilled about the deal. I know when we restart our season I will be focused on creating the best experience I can. Rush Soccer is huge for the kids in my program and the kids in the area. Between our two clubs we can transform soccer in Central New York."

Bosak is an accidental soccer coach. During his senior year at Marcellus High School, he broke his leg during a sectional playoff game. He was bedridden and literally had dreams about playing soccer. His desire to stay active in the game led to him coaching youth soccer in Marcellus. He fell in love with it and created the CNY Sounders Futball Club.

In two weeks, Bosak will return to the OCC campus to continue working toward his Business Administration degree. He'll also continue planning what the future holds for his youth soccer league once practices and games can resume. "The arsenal of resources Rush Soccer has is impressive. Kids will have more field space, better equipment, professional and experienced coaches, connections with college coaches, connections with overseas clubs, and a more direct path to a successful soccer career."
